DIY or Call Us?

There’s a safe middle ground here. Where DIY goes wrong is the substrate prep. Schluter membrane bonds to clean, sound concrete or plywood; if there’s old adhesive, efflorescence, or the previous installer used mastic instead of thin-set, the new membrane fails in 18 months.
